Tucked behind green fields and tree lines off Sidney Road, Clinton Elks Lodge 2434 is the kind of place that regulars call their best-kept secret, and then tell everyone about anyway. Rated 4.6 stars across 124 reviews, this is not a dusty civic hall. It is an active, welcoming gathering spot where pool nights run hot, the bar pours cold, and the parking lot fills up for events that the whole county talks about.

The Lodge has played host to the Clinton Blues Fest, community clam bakes organized by groups like the Garden State Underwater Recovery Unit, and weekly APA billiards nights that draw competitive players from across Hunterdon County. Semi-private by charter, the Lodge also opens its doors to civilian members who want access to the venue, the camaraderie, and the calendar.

This is a place where a first-time visitor leaves with a full stomach, a handshake, and a reason to come back. The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks has stood for charity, justice, brotherly love, and fidelity since 1868, and Lodge 2434 carries that mission into every event, every pour, and every handshake exchanged on these grounds.

What We Offer

The Lodge operates a full-service bar stocked and staffed for everything from a quiet weeknight drink to a packed blues festival crowd. Bar service is attentive, efficient, and consistently praised by guests across events large and small.

Beyond the bar, Lodge 2434 is a genuine event venue. The space accommodates live music performances, fundraising dinners, pool league nights, and private rentals for member-hosted gatherings. The outdoor grounds offer scenery that most venues in the area simply cannot match, making it a go-to for warm-weather events like clam bakes and community cookouts.

Membership in the Lodge unlocks access to the full calendar, discounted bar pricing, and the ability to book the space for your own events. Civilian membership is available, so you do not need a prior connection to the Elks to join. Stop by, check the schedule at clintonelks.org, or show up on a pool night and see what the regulars already know.

"🌳🎱 Hidden gem vibes: straight fire. 💥 Tucked away in green fields and woods, this spot’s my top pick for APA nights. Semi-private, but civilians can snag a membership too—major win. 🙌 Two solid bar boxes in prime condition, plus the staff and members are pure energy bombs. The place is buzzing but still got that chill, humble vibe. 🔥 Events popping off all the time, and Friday nights? Bar boxes are wide open to shoot. Plus, happy hour’s rolling too. 🍻💯"

"I was there as part of Station 68, Garden State Underwater Recovery Unit, hosting a clam bake. I hope everyone who visited had a good time, enjoyed the scenery and waddled away with a full stomach. Thank you the Clinton Elks for hosting us again. Everyone please remember to be careful around water, it's as dangerous as it is vital. Having flotation or a buddy and not needing them is better than needing them and not having them."

"The Elks comes through for The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network again! Russtival was a unbelievable success! The staff goes out of their way to cover all bases to keep the event running like a top! We will continue to support and recommend you and and applaud you for your service to the community. I've had birthday parties, class reunions and other benefits at your establishment.
